This afternoon our class held a discussion on whether it is happy to be the only child in the family or not.

This afternoon our class held a discussion on whether it is happy to be the only child in the family or not. We had two different opinions on the problem. Some of us thought being the only child is good, because he could get his parents’ undivided attention. And it could be easier for the family to pay for the education of the child. However, others disagreed to that opinion. They thought it could be quite bad for the children having the parents’ undivided love. Firstly, the children could become spoilt, because they would expect the undivided attention all the time from everyone. Secondly, they could be lonely, as they were not having any brothers or sisters to play with them. Lastly, they also could have trouble relating to other children, because they didn’t know how to play, or share with others.
